-For her first form, Sailor Universe, the phrase is: “Universe Celestial Power-Make up!”
-To transform directly into Eternal Sailor Universe: “Universe Divine Crystal Power-Make up!” Eternal Universe is well known for her use of the Tenyo (the crystal Sailor Saturn collaborated with God to give her), hence ‘divine crystal’.
-There are no calls of power for her other forms; they are reached by usage of her crystal only.
NOTE: Sailor Universe does not “level up” and stay that way as they do in Sailor Moon. For instance, she does not inherit the powers of Eternal and never revert back to her first senshi form. Instead, she always fights with her normal form first, and then if more strength is needed (or a different level of a certain type of energy), she’ll go through the necessary transformation.

Energy Type
-Pure energy can also be known as the divine side of her power. It is the heavenly, purifying energy used to ward off evil, and can only be maintained by faith and loyalty to God.
-Destructive energy is the raw power (also known as neutral energy) she possesses. There is no intent behind it and can therefore not be dark or pure. It is the source of her physical strength and is what gives her the ability to perform regular energy attacks.
NOTE: The Tenyo, her crystal, is what defines how much of each type of energy she uses, and is controlled via transformations. Without the crystal, herpowers are drained.Content goes here
Forms (Tranformations): Universe has 5 different forms she can transform into, and each brings her unique abilities for use in different kinds of combat. You can learn the details of each in the columns below. Please note: Due to varying energy levels and dual spirits, Universe has slightly different personalities in each form.
In each of the forms Sailor Universe takes on, she maintains a rather serious demeanor. While she has her moments of fluster and glee, she prefers to keep a strong front. But she is by no means ill-natured. While she is sarcastic, she is genuinely caring, and strongly holds to a powerful sense of justice. In every form, Universe has the ability to fly even if her wings are hidden from sight, and she can use standard energy attacks.
Sailor Universe, in her first form, is the most balanced of all her transformations in power and stable in personality. Neither energy type in her is fighting for control, and she can maintain a level head. Her power makes her cunning and agile, yet she’s cautious. She is lively and focused in battle, and she appreciates a good fight. Granted, she is easily irritated, and will not tolerate petty bullsh*t. She detests being alone, and is a wishful thinker.
Hybrid Universe is an incomplete being. She’s formed when the Gold Princess (Ashleigh) and Sailor Universe (Arella) temporarily combine in one body, but do not merge in spirit. Because of this, she is prone to uncertainty and schizophrenia. However, she is much more powerful than Universe’s first form despite being limited in energy attacks. This is because she is one step away from achieving Eternal status which is what would happen if Ashleigh and Arella were fused in spirit. Hybrid Universe no longer appears once the two are fused for good.
When Ash and Arella merge in spirit, the demiangel can finally bear her wings in plain sight – this is Sailor Universe’s true form, just as Eternal Sailor Moon is Usagi’s true senshi form. It is her most powerful as far as brute force is concerned. However, the amount of destructive energy the Tenyo outputs in this form takes a toll on Universe’s mind and body. The result is a rough personality. It’s hard for her to remain compassionate, but if she can accomplish tranquility in this form, it proves her worth as an angel. She’s predominantly serious and distant on the outside, yet keeps the ultimate duty of a guardian in mind. Eternal Universe is extremely confident and compulsive.

In this form, Universe is not much of a fighter. She’s hardly even Universe! This form was granted to Ashleigh by the goddess Din as a gift for her sacrifices, and has little to do with the Tenyo. The form was meant to echo her ancient alter ego, Arella; therefore, her energy is mostly pure. When Ash and Arella are separated in body, Ashleigh takes this form with her, and is solely the Gold Princess, while Arella is Sailor Universe. Apart from Universe and sustained only by a touch of Din’s power, the Gold Princess is weakened and vulnerable. Her nightmares are intense, and she’s often anxious and doubtful. Yet, she still driven, and refuses to let evil get the best of her. The Gold Princess disappears once Ashleigh and Arella are permanently fused in spirit.
Since the Gold Princess vanishes once the two spirits are merged, this is what Universe becomes when she’s in need of an abundance of pure energy to ward demonic offense. It’s practically her transforming into what Arella was in ancient times: a guardian angel without the warrior aspect. In this form, Universe is steadfastly calm and collected with a fierce drive to succeed. As a guardian, she harbors an unparalleled sense of protection towards the innocent, and eventually learns to carry out her duties with little doubt or fear.
* Starlight was the name young Arella gave to her favorite ebony mare which sported a white star on its forehead. It is symbolic of her connection with the stars; serving as lights of hope in a dark night. She later adopts the name to coincide with the alias ‘Sakura’ given to her by a close friend.
** The blood of a demiangel runs in the human crimson as well as the white light of the celestials. It is unethical for a mortal to see it, let alone study it.
†Prayer of Supremacy – a prayer offered to God in only the most desperate of times when weilding Guidance or Reiken (they are the same weapon as discovered in the stories). If she proves herself faithful and worthy, her powers will be boosted. If she is doubtful and selfish, the prayer will not be answered positively.
