Now, this artist, along with this character, were the first things I truly fell in love with on deviantArt, long before I even joined dA myself. Even though I have my own Sailor Universe, honestly… sometimes I feel like she’s inferior to Uni. Uni is a graceful, confident Sailor Senshi, and, unlike many otaku Senshi, has her own story completely unrelated to the canon Senshi. Not only that, but she’s truly close to the creator’s heart, even taking on symbolic stuff from the creator’s own life. Honestly, Uni has so much heart in her, I can feel it with every image of Uni I see. I just… For once, I don’t have enough words to express how much I love and adore Uni. All I can say is that she feels so real and I love her almost to death. Oh, and probably the only LoZ pairing I’ll ever support besides Zelink would be UnixLink – Sep 15, 2010

I think she is awesome because she’s an angel. For me, I have to admit, it was the christian angle that appealed to me because it was very original to have finally a true angel themed sailor girl. I found her in a moment where my relationship with my own guardian angel has been strengthened and it was a totally awesome discovery ^.~ I love her natural, pure and human looks – she is a highly credible character and I have to admit she does physically look a LOT like me so – in a half egoistical and half narcissist way, it’s the easiest thing in the world that to love her and on top, she does what I always wanted to do : save the world. lol. - Jul 9, 2009
Uni is a symbol of hope and love. She’s a character that is obviously very deeply meaningful to you, and that makes her meaningful to me, too. I see her as your other half, your fighting spirit, and your passion. Even though she may have started out as a fan character, she’s grown up to be more of a friend. Sailor Universe is a wonderful otaku sailor senshi. She obviously is very important to you Ashleigh since she has grown up with you through out the years. I really like her sailor design, at first i was a little confuse however over the fact that she had no Tiara but then i just grew to like her with out the Tiara. there is so much more that i want to express that i have no way of expressing. I love everything about Sailor Universe, she inspired me to make my own otaku senshi Sailor Diamond and Sailor Aquila and got me back into sailor moon. Sailor Moon is a great show for young girls because it shows off how girls can rock and kick butt too just like boys and i think Sailor Universe does just that! I started drawing Sailor Moon in the third or fourth grade. She’s how I began to teach myself to draw. About three or four years later, at the Sailor Games Oekaki I cam across Sailor Universe. Sailor Universe helped me to, for lack of better words, draw better. I drew a lot of fan art of her, and enjoyed doing so. She has a fun fuku design and very pretty hair, and in a lot of ways, I liked her more than any of the actual senshi from the manga/show. She was around during an important time of my artist development, and offered much inspiration that I was unable to find elsewhere, and every time I churned out another fan art, you were genuinely pleased with it, which made me feel great. It was wonderful encouragement to keep working at my art and kept me going. – April 6, 2011
